The shop, recently expanded
into an adjacent property, is of course dominated
by fresh local beef, lamb, pork, poultry and game
when in season. There are also speciality
sausages, stuffed roasts, flavoured chops, steaks
and burgers for the barbecue, and in a separate
section of the shop, pies, ham and other cooked
meats.
We cater for customers with all sizes of
appetite, anything from a few dry-cured bacon
rashers for breakfast to a whole Welsh mountain
lamb, ready jointed for the deep-freeze.
Just one of our specialities is the Four Seasons
Box - a range of locally sourced, seasonally
influenced meat. The box contains a barbecue pack
of flavoured burgers, kebabs and grills for the
summer; a pot roast of Welsh Beef with carrots,
leeks and mulled wine dressing for autumn; Pork
Seville boned pork with orange stuffing
for winter; and for spring, a cushion of
Welsh Lamb with lemon and mixed herbs. In the
deluxe box, there is also a turkey breast with
cranberry and orange stuffing for Christmas.
